The PVG Act sets out the circumstances under which disclosure records can be requested, shared or viewed in order to protect sensitive personal information belonging to PVG Scheme members and to ensure disclosure information is only used for its intended purpose.

This module covers the following areas:

• Requesting: when a PVG disclosure record can / cannot be requested from Disclosure Scotland


• Sharing: when a PVG disclosure record can / cannot be shared


• Viewing: when sight of a PVG disclosure record can / cannot be requested from a PVG Scheme member or their employer (including third party access to disclosure records for commissioners of transport services)

It should take around 20 minutes to complete the module.
